Hi Jacqueline,

You can see if there is anything on my website that tweeks your interest. I have been an Esty for 24 years and any equipment that I represent, I use successfully with my clients first. I have some fun stuff! Let me know if I can be of help.  www.shelleyhancock.com

'Cause it's not the same machine.    I have a friend who bought both the one from Ebay and from someone else selling a machine that LOOKS the same, but isn't.  This friend compared the two, and they are just NOT in the same league.   Here it is (edited by me) in her own words:

"Last Springs (meeting) I met (distributor) and saw the (Brand) unit. KNEW it would be great for my clients. Wanted one soooo bad. Couldn't or wouldn't afford at that time.

Got caught up in the frenzy of the ebay units from (distributor)  ( :P )

Bought one- hand piece didn't work steadily (I could get a full face out of it- with jiggling of LUA- real professional :() but I was so tickled by the technology and so were my clients. I sold 4 series and got many more clients interested. I decided I could not live without for a month while it was being fixed, so I bought another one from him and planned to have two units as I have another treatment room being set up. In the meantime I had to cancel clients and promise the other one was on it's way any minute!

Second one came. TOTALLY BROKEN. This time the hand piece wouldn't shoot the right amount of flashes, and (Ebay Distributor) said it was a circuit board issue.
:twister:

OMG- can you imagine the phone calls I had to make then?

So, I called up (American Distributor) and bought the real machine.
********** it is not the same machine.
MUCH hotter, housing made of metal, just NOT the same.

Now I can call it by a brand name
now I have brochures
now I have training
now I HAVE SANITY!!!!!

BTW- (Ebay Distributor) is refunding the cost of machines, but I am out the shipping and lost income from treatments, plus pain & suffering lol

Just thought I would share this experience. I may be the only one who got to experience both.
I know some of you have not had this experience, and if my machines hadn't been defective I would have loved it.
Now that I have the (Brand) though I can really tell the differences in the LUA strength and quality of the housing."

Hope this helps!

I'm going to be starting my own practice soon and am looking for a quality diamond microderm machine and a microcurrent(preferably w/LED)...but also affordable! Has anyone used the one from Knutek?  and I'd appreciate any recommendations any of you may have!

Hi Laura,

I sell that unit also and it's a pretty good little machine. If you are wanting to use their products, it's a great deal through them. I've worked with their products and I have some favorites that I still use in treatment. Contact me if you want some further training on it once you get it. I think because I use it in treatment on a regular basis, I may know some tricks that they don't. Last I heard they were back ordered on those....make sure they have it available for you.

I found a fabulous little diamond microderm machine at the Las Vegas Show. I just ordered one for my Center. It has blue and red LED at the tip and it also has an oxygen mist handle. I will be training on how to infuse rather than just mist. It's only $2500 and comes with a 5 year warranty. It's made in California.

Nondy, thank you for your post! I hear this story time and time again with Estys ordering things on EBay that are knock-offs. Just because the picture looks like the real thing, doesn't mean it is the real thing.
