Does anyone have an appointment reminder service or software you can recommend?   Also,  do you send appointment reminders through email and text message or just email?

I use Genbook, online scheduling. It sends an email reminder 24 hrs prior to their appointment. My clients like the ability to schedule online. It is 19.95/mo. If a current user refers you, you get a $3 mo discount indefinitely which brings it to $16.95. I like it and feel it is worth the money.

Hi Michelle I use Schedule Max! They are great and they have the best customer service. If one of my clients books online I get a text message and an email to let me know I have a new appointment. Also the client receives a reminder 24 hrs before their appointment. If you have a fb page you can link the booking service to your facebook page and clients can also book you that way. It is very easy to use and my "shy" clients love the fact they can click and book without asking me weird questions. check them out! They are $15 a month!!!! You can't beat that. Tell them I sent you :) good luck!

Thank you so much for the info. It's so amazing with technology how much more time you can save yourself.  The price for these services are really reasonable.

no worries! check them out! I really love that they always help me when I need it!

I use Styleseat and love it! It's free and easy to use. People can leave you recommendations so new clients can see. You can post pics, all your services and a short bio of yourself. Clients can book online and even when they don't, I add them so that they automatically get a reminder prior to appt. I connected my FB, twitter, website and my blog to it as well. That way people can see everything I have to offer...besides just services. It's a lot to get for free. :) Plus you can set up your own deals.
They do have a premium membership but I don't pay for that. I don't find it necessary bc it offers things I don't need for my biz.
Hope that helps!

how about the txt messages? that cant be free.. or is it?

It's free!

I use http://www.styleseat.com/loveyourskin this is mine and its FREE online booking and you get a text and email and so does your client! the site also has a premium membership that you have to pay for but its not needed to get those services.

Thank you so much for sharing this site-I quit using an online scheduling service for the cost and occasionally have someone who asks. Free works for me! I will be signing up.

I just started with Full Slate.

You get a free trial plus a discount with your ASCP membership.

I LOVE the automatic reminders, plus the booking site looks pretty nice

The cost is a business expense/deduction

even if it weren't, one or two extra appts pretty much pays your cost for the full year.

Mind Body Online has some good features...like on-line gift certificates, they USED to have a free module but not anymore.

Cindy, I know costs are deductable but it's very slow in this area, the cost can't be justified, In the year that I did try a service, I had not 1 client book thru it. Truthfully I 'd forget to promote it as well when they did come in. (not good at marketing). Some weeks I'm barely making rent let alone expenses which overall are about equal to rent. I've only had my esty license just over a year and MT for 13.

Can anyone using the appointment schedulers please post your website so I can see how you have it linked?  I would appreciate it.  I have been thinking about doing something like this as well but wanted to see how it works.
