Groovy.

Just what we need.

A professional industry magazine now allows Arbonne to run an ad?  Page. 15.  "Intelligence Genius"?

Wow. ... really?

LOL!

My impression of arbonne would not include either "intelligent" or "genius".

(what moron thought it was a good idea to place an ad in a pro publication?)

That. Sucks. Guess I can skip that renewal.
I just made a comment on your SB story post.. Then saw this..funny that one of "those" that I spoke of sold Arbonne as her retail ( was a rep) and well that's why she didn't have a facial clientele - maybe the state board should regulate use of products Professional use and not educate (them) selves on ingredients and the industry instead of a checklist.

On that note I believe SB is behind us to help not hurt for most part. We need more experienced in industry to start speaking up and being heard. Myself included.

So what's the difference between a arbonne and dermatological? I will say what a t I do like a bout them is that your clients can buy online and you s till get comission.

Darn . Kindle

Any MLM line can be sold without professional recommendation by your mechanic.  I personally do not want to be associated with that business model as a professional esthetician.  Not a huge fan of Dermalogica either, but at least they are sold by professional estheticians.  My clients can buy my products online as well, and I make FAR more retail profit on my line than you can with a MLM.  What is your profit  25-30%?  Mine's 100%.  The draw of MLM's is that you can recruit a group of people and make money off of their orders.  Again, not a business model that is of interest to me.

Nondy! Are you telling me if I used your product line I'd make 100% commission? When I used any other "professional" line, I don't really make anything. Wow! Tell me more!!!

I buy from let's say Image, or Osmosis at wholesale, sell it retail at 100% markup (sometimes more)...  It's a much better deal.  You're saying you're not making anything on a professional line?  How could you NOT?!

Agreed.

So I buy x product for 32.00$ wholesale and sell it at 64.00$ retail. But I'm really not making a ny profit because the 32 $ I made off of it goes back into buying another retail at 32.00. It's total illusion. Combined with the fact that they can buy it for the same price off the website of the brand name without me getting a cut means I really am making nadda.

Actually you are making %100 commission because the 32 you invested made you an additional 32. And if you only purchased one product to replace it, you spend the original 32 you spent to get the original but now you have 32 in your pocket. If a consumer goes to a website to purchase they likely have to pay shipping, so why pay shipping if they can just get it from you when they see you again to give you an additional 100% commission on the product you replaced. Putting your pocket amount up to $64.
