I really need assistance with the wording in order for the website to come up when someone searches it.  I would really like it to come up when someone searches broad topics for my area like facials, skincare, microderm, etc.

What is working for you all?  Have you tried and had success using a search engine and having your website come up as a result?

I have been talking to our IT and web builder people in the office here, and we don't know of any problems at our end. For those of you whose site isn't showing up in searches, here are the steps to take:

1) If you haven't already, make sure you're doing everything in steps 1-5 in the guide here. https://www.ascpskincare.com/members/marketing_website_optimization... Some common issues: keywords, descriptive tags, and title tags need to be set up on EACH of your site's pages, not just on your homepage. Each page contains different information, so your keywords, descriptive tags and title tags need to be about the things that are on that page, not the same for every page on your site.

2) If you did that already, but you're still not getting search results after a month or two, give us a call when you have time, and we can go through any specific problems step by step with you while looking at your site. Becky Godden in our membership department is the person who can do this for you - when you call, either ask for her by name or just say you want to talk to someone about your website.

I am so sorry Carrie - i forgot to put in the url...

still a work in progress...yadda, yadda, yadda...

and yes - unless I type it in EXACTLY ...even if I leave off the .net it does not come up in any search...ever

I have still not done everything listed yet - my computer black-screened on me a couple of times this morning when I was trying to fix the website (seems okay now...fingers crossed)

thank you so much for the link and suggestions - I think that might help.

If I wasn't working 7 days a week lately I could probably focus on this better!

There is so much to learn when it comes to internet marketing. If you do a google search on free SEO marketing you will find a bunch of information including free e-books on the subject to get you started. You should ask your web designer if your site is optimized for search engines, often times this is an extra service.

Hope this helps,
