I have a usual cosmetic brand which suits me fine and doesn't cause problems for my skin.  Occasionally, if I try a different brand, I end up with adult breakouts on my skin.  I am not sure how I can recognise why certain products do this.  I recently used a different brand of cosmetic on my face (a primer) and the spots have returned!  I know the answer is probably not to switch to other brands but I am curious to know what ingredients to avoid.

I just found my foundation to be pore clogging.  I haven't used it in 4 days and my skin looks incredibly better.  Look into a mineral line like Jane Iredale.

This is really helpful - thank you :)

I usually use Oriflame and I find it to be great on my skin and light as well.  But I do have a few others and tried one the other day and I now look like a teenager (sadly because of the breakout, but also have wrinkles)!  I think I will stick to Oriflame as it is always fine.

I will look into this list as it is useful to have to advise others as well well looking into products.
