Of course no new venture goes off without a hitch, however, all-in-all, it went very well!
The Esthetician Lounge was the all-important bridge between the consumer and the professional vendors there. We had some incredible esthetician talent there to guide consumers through their skin analysis in a professional way so the consumer now knows #1. WHAT an esthetician IS!. #2. Why the consumer NEEDS our guidance! #3. The consumers we had the privilege of serving, were SO grateful to have someone with knowledge guide their choices in skin care.
I came away with a few revelations as well. #1. Consumers are HUNGRY for CREDIBLE knowledge. We had tools that were supplied by Control Correctives and Scalar ProScope HR to assist us in making correct recommendations for them. #2. THEY LOVED US! #3. They LOVED having a basic road map to navigate the confusing world of skin care in the professional realm. #4. I think the vendors themselves were happy to have us there.
