I am looking for an effective body wrap to use on my clients.  I do not have a shower so I would prefer on that does not have to be removed.  I have tried a few that you remove with warm towels and it was so time consuming and messy. I am using one from Lori Nestore at the moment, which I like but it is pretty expensive and I really haven't seen great results. It would for minimizing cellulite, weight loss, and hydration.  Thanks!!

M'Lis Body Contour Wraps. No mess. I have a wet room but I don't use it for this one. Great results (and real) b/c it works internally with the lymphatic and circulatory system. My clients love it!!!

I just started with M'lis wraps this week.

Wonderful company to work with and their nutritional products and programs look great.

I am very excited about it...already have a total of 4 appts (two of them done yesterday) this week and 5 more next week.

I am so glad to hear that your clients love it Devyn!
Hoping that mine do too.

If you can check them out at a local trade show Missy that would be well worth your time...very educational if you are interested in health & wellness.

I just contacted a M'Li rep, did you have to become certified by them in order to use/buy their products or did you just buy the products? Thank u.

Hello Jaclyn,

They promote the live class for us to get certified with them.  If you can't, then buy the cd training so you get familiar with the body wrap and they also have catalogues and good customer service if you need to check with them.

I like this body wrap, no messy, no shower needed, skin does not dehydrate, and it is helpful with cellulite.

if you need anything else, let me know.

Hope you like it.

THANK YOU!!!!

Hi Cindy - what types of results are you seeing with this? Any feedback yet from your clients?

I'm starting to research some body wraps and noticed there's an MLM called "It Works" being promoted in my area (and on one of the boards here, too). I can't imagine how someone with out a license could apply that...but thought I'd pass that info along as clients may ask how the two compare.

Kate,

YMMV, but I would steer clear of the "it works" people. Cost of product is high and is looks more like a distributorship or mlm than a professional product line.

Regarding the M'lis body wrap...about 75% of the women that booked a wrap rebooked at least a 2nd wrap. Plus I got great feedback and a testimonial I have to put up.

I have to admit here that I don't do the measurements...I know, I am terrible! I WILL do measurements if they ask....but not all of them. While I know that the inch loss is a great marketing tool, the extra time it takes for me to do and record is not worth it to me.

I promote the M'Lis wrap more as a detox/wellness treatment than a beauty treatment...this fits in with my philosophy and with my business.

Years ago when I was doing the set n me free wraps, I learned to hate doing the measurements...never had one person that showed results, maybe that's why I prefer not to do them still...

Hello Cindy,

I agree with you regarding mlis wrap, people love it and i also believe it is better to promote it as detox wellness treatment. I wanted to tell you i do not take measurements either since it is time consuming besides, the inch loss may or may not happen.

But for that, supossedly we have to measure exactly same spot so i do not do it either.  With reference to the other wrap, it definetely look more like a retail product that clients can aply themselves so I stick to the body wrap service that i can do it for the client and in series of 6 per say.

I am happy i can have all this feedback from all of you. Thank you and have a good weekend.

Thanks Cindy! Yes, I completely agree with you on the It Works MLM - we have very similar viewpoints on those. :0)
I wanted to mention it to the folks on this forum just in case they also ran across that brand. (It is being promoted by a poster on another ASCP body wrap topic)
I contacted M'lis based on the positive feedback here and can attest to their excellent customer service.

I'm glad to hear what other esty's think about the It works body wrap systems. everywhere I go, to networking events , etc. they have a table or booth set up. I am a little annoyed by them, It seems like it really does work but I don't feel that it is something professionals should use. I'm gonna look into the M'Lis wrap, since auite a few of you have good feedback from it.

I've been doing the M'Lis wraps for a while and I measure all of my clients. That's my favorite part! The results are great and the clients are thrilled. If the clients are serious about their health and/or weight loss, then they will continue to see inch loss. It's like seeing the number on the scale go down. We all love that feeling. :)

You don't have to be certified to buy their products but if you have a chance to take their class at a trade show, definitely do it. I watched their video for my training but taking the class was different. Plus, I got certified. They teach you to wrap differently at the trade show than the video and it's much easier and faster. All the girls (women) are so nice too!

I'm very skeptical about products, machines, techniques, etc until I try them and see the results for myself. I really didn't think this wrap was the real deal. It is! I've seen it work on everyone. I only wish I could wrap myself. :)

I just got more info and may add in the wellness with it. Do you use their dietary supplements as well or the candida program? Thanks! Any input is welcome
