Hi Everyone!

I want to learn more about basic chemistry (but beyond what you learn in school) that is realated to this industry and also about peels and acids and how/why they work.

I searched on Amazon and the search comes up with chemistry books that might be intended for somone looking to do their own formulations and look too advanced.

I have these books:

Skin Physiology by Pugliese

Skin Care Answer Book by Mark Lees (I found it kind of general and boring)

Cosmetic Ingredients by Milady

I am considering the following book but is so expensive I wanted to ask around first if somone has read it and find it worth it:

Cosmeceuticals and Cosmetic Ingredients by Leslie Baumann

Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
