Hi All,

Forgot to add if anyone can recommend a good dvd for Brazilian Waxing. I've been licensed for 12 years now, 9 1/2 years in England and  2 1/2  years in America. I love my work and would like to try to extend my menu.

Also can anyone recommend a Microdermabrasion machine that doesn't need me to be affiliated with a Doctor......we're pretty restricted here in Wisconsin.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I think that The Whole Ball of Wax by Lori Nestori from Eva's Esthetics is awesome.  She teaches with hard wax for all sensitive areas and strip for others.  http://www.evasesthetics.com I don't see the video listed but just call and ask about it.  I am not a big fan of their wax.  I use Escentials Rose and I have had good luck with that lately.  Eva's After Wax Oil though is the bomb!  Kind of pricey but very nice.

Not a machine person so no recommendations on the microderm.  Good Luck.

I use Berins Blue wax from Eva's Esthetics and Whole Ball of Wax by Lori Nestore is the best dvd on covering every area on the body including Brazilians. I swear once you get used to applying the Berins blue, it's really a great wax to use! I've found it to be a lot less painful in sensitive areas and it's quicker to do the job. The only wax I've struggled with is the Berins Ease wax, it seems hard to get the temperature right with either applying it too thick or too thin. It's also a little messy so I prefer to use Caron Brilliance wax for arms, legs, etc. I'm glad I found Caron at the face and body expo, it works way better for me!
Thanks Katrina....I've seen the whole ball of wax for sale on a website, I'll order today. Thanks for the info and help

Thanks Nicole......I've seen the DVD advertised for $75 and I'll definitely look up the website for eva esthetics.

You've been really helpful...I'll let you know how I go on.

Sorry Guys I missed a 1..I saw it advertised for $175.00.......is this about the price everyone paid???

Thanks

If you purchase the DVD by it self that is the price.  If you purchase one of the starter packages it is included.  I already had wax heaters so I purchased the smaller package, I believe it was around $250 and the DVD was included.  Once you do that you can purchase the blue beads to refill your tin, 10lbs for about $150, bulk is definitely the way to go.

I'm another fan of The Whole Ball of Wax...Lori is also currently working on a new edition of it.  I also love Berins blue hard wax for Brazilians, but I just got some of the Berins Rose hard wax to try...for sensitive skin.  Sorry...don't know too much about machines.  In school we used two micro machines from New Appeal...one medical and one cosmetic.  The cosmetic one supposedly just has a less powerful motor/vacuum...but we got very good results with it.
