Hey professionals! Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I am a solo estheticia with my own business. I have spent 5 years building clientele. I will be relocating with my husbands job change. Can i sell my business and if so how would i determine its worth? It would be a turn key business. Everything is set up...just needs an esthi. How would i go about this?

This is complicated since the clients are buying YOU.  For me what you are selling is a phone number, location and equipment.  I do not see how you could sell the clients unless you did like they do in hair which is apprentice and then some of the clients move with the apprentice when that person gets their own chair.

How would you compensate the person when clients do not return and what would the time frame be?  All very complicated to structure to say the least.

My advise and quickly is bring in someone you trust to handle some of the clients and or just add a small premium for the clients and sell the above mentioned base part of the business.  But no matter what start now and do it soon since it would take how long for you to personally introduce this new person to your clients and have her touch them as well.

Best of luck to you...
