I am looking to get into these more. Glycolic, Lactic, TCA, etc. What are your favorites? Why? As much detail as you can give me would be helpful. :) Not PCA. I know they are great but you have to be certified to purchase and I can't do that right now. I want RESULTS, nothing weak that may or may not work. Thank you!!

How familiar are you with chemical peels? If you don't have a lot of experience, PCA offers a great class so you can give safe and effective peels. I would suggest going to ANY product manufacturer's chemical peel class that you use so you can better know their particular product and the limitations within it. A lot of the lines offer a "Peel Manual" you can purchase when you buy the products. I like Image Skincare peels myself, I think they are effective and they are easy to work with. They are all delivered in an aloe vera carrier/base, which I like. Image has good trainings too- I learn so much everytime. I'd recommend taking a look at them.

In general, my favorite skincare motto is "Low and Slow". Many clients think they want a Jessner or TCA because that's what their girlfriend had and they think they need the same thing. But that isn't always the case. I will never do this as a first time treatment, ever. Not until I know what their skin type is, history, how their skin reacts, and until we trust each other. I need to know she is going to wear SPF, not work out for at least 24 hours after t/x, stay out of the sun, protect her face etc. Lawsuits aren't fun- we have to protect ourselves. :) :) :)

I have used Bioelements peels with some satisfaction.  I REALLY like Image Skincare products.  I've attended their PK classes numerous times and take extensive notes each time.  The Kansas rep (Ashley Forelich) is PHENOMINAL!!!  (No I do not work for Image).  I've taken & used their Chem Peels with wonderful results.  As an Educator, I try to attend a variety of classes that come to the Kansas City metro area.  I walk away learning something from each and every class.
