Hey everyone!

We're having a small issue here at my spa.  We have recently brought in PCA peels and some of the other estheticians clients aren't "seeing the results they expected".   We had previously worked with Cosmetix and one of the other estheticians who has been here for a long time will always feel like nothing compares to Cosmedix.  Has anyone every worked with this line before and can maybe give me some advice?

Thanks!

I have used PCA in 2 places I have worked. they are good products. I've had no issues. using them before micro is awesome.easy to use. love their lip excellence! I've heard Cosmedix is strong but that's good- effective! used Sensi & Esthetique & Ultra Peel II alot! My favorite company is Image for peels- liquid!

I used glymed in school and didn't think they were very effective . After school I did some research and decided to go with PCA. I like the fact that they have peels that can be used on every Fitzpatrick type. I have done a micro before the ultra peel along with a booster  and got great results. My client had dehydrated mature skin and really loved the results. PCA also offers an advanced class where you can learn different techniques for a stronger peel. I use Image skincare and have thought about their peels but I like PCA's layer and leave on approach.

I have to do some more research into Image skincare.  I've heard a lot about them.  What's been your experience?

I've only worked with Image for a couple of months. I haven't had any clients buy my retail yet because I haven't tried to sell and I haven't seen very many people. In school I used dermalogica and had clients who used it at home. Most of them didnt see results and I feel their products are over priced. I like Image because it's affordable and has quality ingredients. They use L abscorbic acid which is great but now they have BV-OSC which is oil soluble. They have different lines like most companies but I especially like the organic line.·   Products not tested on animals ·   No petrochemicals ·   No chemical preservatives ·   Fragrance composed with 100% essential oils ·   Respect of the environment ·   No Silicones ·   No Parabens
All reasons why I chose Image.

I'm anxious to take the Advanced Training signed up at ICES show last month (for extra goodies) and will take it in the fall. I haven't had any complaints with PCA except a few didn't care for the chemical smell, I don't have much of a regular clientele, use the detox gel on alot of people and myself.

Hi Deborah, Im  new esthetician and new on pca line, but i used the detox gel once, so far .

My question is: What is the other befit of it, bisides soften the congestetion of black heads ?

and do you use on all face?

thanks.

Vero, it also kills bacteria, helps to reduce inflammation, hydrates the skin. I will use it all over if the client has breakouts all over the face, but usually it's the T-zone area. I massage it in while steaming. Sometimes, I also use a slight suction to pull out more congestion esp. on nose, chin.
