HI,
I did a facial today and I put a warm towel on their face when the enzyme and mask are on. The client wanted the towel to stay warm for the 10 min processing times. have you ladies had any complaints from your clients regarding this?

I usually only do the warm towel for a minute and then I remove the product...but if you want it to stay warm, try putting a thicker dry towel on top of the hot one...that may help hold the heat in.
so you don't put a warm wet towel on during the enzyme peel or the mask?
I use steam for enzymes - or nothing if they have rosacea.
I just had a facial where warm towels were used...it was very pleasant.
You do need to use regular terry towels though - if you use microfiber they don't hold the heat at all - the heat will only stay for about 3 minutes anyway. Why don't you try switching out the towels for that client.
I use steam for the enzyme and nothing during the mask but then use a hot towel to take off the products. No complaints here.
I do the same thing Angela :).
I use three hot towels per regular facial. One to remove second cleanse (1st cleanse is removed with 4x4s), one to wrap face and remove enzyme/scrub/exfoliant (steam used during exfoliant phase if OK), and one to remove mask at the end of the facial.
If I was to wrap face with steam towel for long period of time (ie if I wasn't going to use steam), I'd wrap a second towel around the hot one to keep the warmth in. Even then, 10 minutes is too long, IMO, to leave the face wrapped and I wouldn't think the towel would stay warm that long.
thank you so much for the advice. So appreciate it
