tightening pores requires extraction perhaps after an enzyme, desincrustation, proper exfoliation.  pores strech when clogged.  the pore itself does not tically chage size, its skin that forms around the edges of yhe pore that needs to be exfoliated.  proper homecare, toning, exfoliating products and aesthetic treatments will evenyually bribg pores to original size.  if its oily skin, products with salicylic acid work, dry id use lactic.  acneic, id do a series of enzymes til inflammation decreases then start peels. clay based masks are nice to draw out oils, and gel based moisturizers, like skinscropt aloe are great too.   there is no quick fix it i a m aware of.  but would love to read more responcez

Thank you for your reply. My client is wanting something they can do at home. So you would mainly recommend the exfoliating and toning? I only offer one facial in my office at this time. It is more of a therapeutic facial with skin care benefits. I use the rephachage seaweed facial. I use an excellent almond honey scrub on the face during the facial, but my client is needing a natural product for home use. She is not interested in purchasing a "product" but hoping to find an all natural organic approach.

she can make a desincrustation solution at home with baking soda and water, apply a thin layer on areas that are a problem, and steam over a bowl of boiled water with a towell to tent in the steam.  after that she can rinse, or tone, and use a gommage.  yonka makes a wonderful one that is natural.  the gommage dries on skin then is gently removed in circular motion with finger while holding skin taught.  the desincrustation with steam will sponify the clogs, and the gommage with help pull cloging out, and with also exfiolate.  this once or twice a week shoild make a difference.  also, she should look for thayers distilled rose water with which hazel extract to tone her skin after cleansing.  a cleanser with sal, and light gel moisture...

p.s. the ratio of baking soda to water can be found omline.  its not a paste, it fluid.
