I have the 5 in 1, I really like it but be careful as the most aggressive bit will leave scratches on the skin (I personally used it on myself and this happened).  I have only used the microdermabrasion function and the LED but overall it's a great machine for starting out and affordable.  You could definitely go with just the microdermabrasion and buy the handheld LED separately.  Hope this helps.

Thank so much for your reply... But i need something less aggressive because i am just starting))) and also budget that my owner gave me 3000$

I am also wondering if it is good something like this

I ve used a machine that looks just like this and it worked pretty good.  I am also buying a machine for my treatment room I think I am going to get one from sylvan company they have a machine for 240 on their website.  I bought a cheaper one from ebay and I am not happy with it so I will be returning it and getting a new one.

They have different tips so this machine doesn't have to be aggressive.  It's all in the technique and products used before and afte that make the treatment more aggressive.  I am just starting out too so that's why I went with this one. You want to make sure you get a machine with good suction too.  Good luck and let us know what you decide.

@ Anna no, no no.

I demo'd that machine and it is crap.

If you have $3k why are you even looking at these china knockoffs?

What about this...

I think ARC Skincare has this unit for even less

You don't get scratches if you have quality tips.

Thanks so much for your replys. So Athena machine is good? I lost already with this mecroderm machines....((((

Cindy...you crack me up!

What do you recommend as far as a "quality" tip?  I haven't had any problems with any of my other ones just the most aggressive bit, but the other 2 work great as do the smaller tips for the nose.  I have never used the most aggressive on a client, only myself and I tend to be more aggressive when it comes to my own skin, or should I say more experimental.

Any of the units that use those $99 tip sets (includes 2 wands and like 5 heads) is probably not very good.

Diamond Tome replacement wands are like $250 EACH! So while the machine should have good suction, the diamond tips have to be of good quality. I have used the Diamond Tome unit so I am probably a lot more picky than some.

Everything on the Sylvan site looks exactly like the units on ebay from China - and that they just stuck a "Sylvan" sticker on. Unless you get a money back guarantee if you are not happy, and assurance that they will repair your machine I wouldn't buy from them....their tip sets LOOK like the $99 ones.

I have the unit from 5star and I think I paid about $75 for an extra wand and maybe the same for an extra tip (I would have to check my records) I can order supplies from them any time and they ship out right away.  My original cost for the unit was somewhere around $1600.00. The suction is great.

But seriously - there are many good sources - keep looking!

Thanks for the info!  Unfortunately I have the Sylvan machine as it was all I could afford for just starting out but once I build my clientele and start bringing in more money I will be able to afford a better machine.
