I worked there some time ago. It was a great start for me to get comfortable with clients, different skin types and to keep my hands moving since I had a full time job during the day in an office. I did not mind it there, the pay was good for a starting position (16 an hour plus your tips) and the clients were there. I did not stay busy enough to ever consider being full time, the facial clients were just not in abundance, most go for massage.
Ok, with all that being said, after gaining experience it's a get your client in and out and have your room turned over with a new client on the table in one hour. That is just not me, I cater to every client I have and I typically went over my allotted time. I work on my own now and schedule 90 minutes for my clients facials so there is never a rush, they feel special and have my attention. Also, you are required to sell a certain percentage of Murad, which I personally did not like so that was hard for me too. Good luck, I hope this helped.

The selling of products is what I have an issue with as far as working at a spa type environment. That and the no compete clause. Even if I worked at a place, I would still promote to obtain my own clientele in a private practice.

Kristen, can you tell me to conditions of ME's clause.

Zella, I do not remember exactly what they were but I think it was something like, you could not work at another spa with in 5 miles of ME.

Opps I just noticed my typo :/ - Thanks Kristen.
