Can anyone give me an idea as to what you tell your clients after a facial? Just curious and making sure I am saying all the right things.

Thanks!

In regards to home care?  Rebooking?  I'm just trying to get a feel for what you are looking for.  For a new client, I ask how their skin feels, if they looked in the mirror and how they feel it looks.  I explain I was able to address and recommend 1 product for home  care, and ask them to rebook in 4 weeks.  For my existing clients, I ask how they feel, if they need any products replenished, and what day they want me to look at for scheduling their next appointment.

I always make a point to first ask them if they felt good and advice them to use some good facial products such as cleanser and sunscreen to keep their skin healthy and glowy.

I always ask the client if he/she has any questions about what we discussed. I only talk during steaming, extracting and to ask occasionally if they are comfortable. Some clients don't stop taking so I always let them take the lead. I also gently and quietly tell them which products I'm using and why (end of facial). This also helps in waking them up very gently as most of my clients fall asleep. I always check to see if they need products and let them know when they need to book another appointment based on their individual treatment protocol.

For all new clients I send an email a couple days later detailing my professional treatment and home care recommendations and thank them for selecting me as their Esthetician. I also cover issues such as my referral program, spa and phone hours that I'm available. I also include any additional information or attach documents on subject that i think would help my client, for instance an article on peels and how they can help pigmentation if that is what i recommend.

I give them a client feedback form and offer them tea. If they want to purchase any products also this is the time I bring it up. But I usually talk about products and if want them before and during session and at the end I offer them for purchase.
