I am considering replacing my flooring in my salon. Any suggestions to flooring that is great! I do have a pedicure room with 2 portable units,so water does occasionally get spilled, so it has to be sturdy and also it has to be good for our esthetic chairs with rollers. I mean as far as moving around easily. Any input would be helpful!
This is a question that I've been inquiring for a long time. I went with stained concrete. Looks good, trendy and can get in industrial strength. It's worth every penny, not that it's overly expensive.
I have vinyl that looks like stained concrete. It is easy to take care of and has fooled even the most discerning. Also it is not quite as slippery as concrete which makes it a better choice for me for liability issues.
Stay away from stone/granite and the like - it's noisy to roll stuff around on and if the tiles have gaps inbetween them you'll be constantly catching wheels in them.
