Hi all!

I currently have a SECURA face steamer at home and its just horrible, it beeps constantly, the steam lasts for all of 15 minutes, not to mention the bright lights that shine in the clients face the entire time.

What are some good brands of facial steamers that are tabletop and have stands, at fairly reasonable prices??

Hi Kyle, I really like the tabletop types that run around $40.  No, they're not perfect, and not as powerful as some nicer models, but if you have an adjustable facial bed, you can get the steam where you need it.  They don't last forever, but I feel like I get my money's worth.  As for brands, with the tabletop steamers, I don't find it matters so much.  They are all probably made in the same factory in China.  They all last me about 18 months before they start leaking or spitting.

Thanks Christine!

In school I had the satin smooth tabletop steamer and it was really nice, ive never used a standing steamer but I just thought id see if any brands were better!

I really like my new Garfield/Paragon steamer-vaporizor/lamp combo. It's solidly built and quiet. Nice to have after working in spas that have flimsy steamers that lean and tick, tick, tick... and feel like they may tip over when you move them. The lamp is solid with a really good arm so it never bounces around.

i use a satin smooth table top steamer

works great:)
