I am looking for a good massage cream to use for the massage part of my facials. I am using one now that has frankincense and I feel that is can be too stimulating and leaves my clients a tad red. I would like to have an all around good one that does not over stimulate and is not too expensive.
Thanks ladies!!

Hi Kristen
I use Sacred Earth Vegan massage cream. I love it! It glides perfectly, non scented and is not expensive. My clients have never had any issues with this cream. I buy it through Terry Binns Online Catalog -located in MO, I'm in CA but find that his prices are much lower than Universal. Do a google search, he'll pop up! :o) Ask for Steve when ordering.
Hi, I looked online and came across a cream and a lotion. Whick one do you buy?
Thank you
Hi Kristen
Sorry for the late reply. I use the massage cream.
Have a great day!
Denise
Hi Kristen,
I massage with a hydrating mask. Not only is the skin being fed, but its also being nourished into the deeper layers (if its a drying mask, just add water for better slip) it may seem like added steps for slip but it is so worth it for the end result. It brightens the skin and leaves a very visible effect that makes my clients look very clean. Based on your product if possible, massage with the mask & then use a second different mask based on skin type which heightens rejuvenation of the skin. I consider it giving the skin an appetizer then the meal. Hope that helps!
Try Trissage by Bioelements. It works great and smells nice. Below is the information.
I love the Trissage! I custom blend it with the aromatherapist oils for an added effect on the skin.
I like to use a mask rather than a massage type cream because a great mask product just helps create amazing results. Depending upon skin type I use the following: Skin Script Goji Berry/Yogurt mask for all skin types, Peace Spa AntiOxidant Skin Recovery Mask for dry/mature mask. This product is fabulous on skin that has reddened during the facial, and works miracles on rosacea skin! Peace Spa also makes a Peptide Gel Mask that I like to add. I offer facial acupressure sessions (they also come with facial massage) so I use Farmaesthetics Nourishing Lavender Milk with a little rose hip oil added for slip. It is really nice especially on dryer skin and can be left on the face.
Thank you ladies for all of the feedback, this gives me a great start!!
Hi Ann, where might one find the Peace Spa AntiOxidant Skin Recovery Mask?
Thank you!
Hi Kristen :)
Here is their link http://www.peacespaproducts.org/ they only sell to esties too :)
I do a Farmaesthetic facial and had problems using the Lavender Milk as the massage cream and was going to replace it with their sweet oil in lavender but I might try the rose hip oil and see how that works for me. I also think using the mask is a great idea I would like to try as well. I always cringe when using facial massage oil on freshly cleansed/exfoliated skin, it seems as if I just undone everything I just did!
I am another one who tends to use a masque for my massage - usually over serums.
A couple that I have used are - Skin Script seaweed gel masque and Hylunia anti-oxidant masque...I can then leave these on with another masque on top if I want.
I find that most massage creams are just a little too heavy for my taste, and just don't have the ingredients that I would want on MY face - if I have to remove it before I masque, then IMO it is not a good product.
I would avoid products with essential oils if you want to avoid overstimulation.
