I was super excited to see I had a message on my business Facebook page hoping it was a new client but nope...

It was an It Works! Distributor. I hate that we're targeted for this stuff. Not to mention that depending on what state you're in, these things aren't legal for us to even perform. People without licenses have more leeway with this stuff than we even do. It's a travesty that people in charge of selling these don't even know the basic rules. Could you imagine what it would be like if someone had an allergic reaction on their entire body?

Hello Samantha, my name is *******. I'm an independent distributor for It works company and our number 1 selling product is our body applicator (wrap) which helps you TIGHTEN, TONE & FIRM in as little as 45 minutes. This wrap is being offer at spas, salons and other places as an opportunity to increase daily income. For more info please contact me ***********

My brother just got a new girl friend and her facebook page is all about her itworks! business. She sent me an email asking me if I would be interested to sell.  I was just like, um...no thanks.  I work with strictly professional only products.  She was like "Oh! Me too! I'm a professional too!"  So then, trying to be nice, I was like "OH?  You're a licensed Esthetician too?"  She said "no... I am a professional body wrap consultant"

Sigh

No thanks!  Now, I've pissed off my brother. lol

But but but...IT WORKS!

The best part is when they don't stop.  I've sternly declined, only for them to come back a few weeks later to "follow up" on whether or not I'm interested.

Why are we a target?
