How is everyone who is solo working their hours? I am trying to figure out 4 day weeks w/o overtaxing myself. I'd love to hear how others have set up their schedules.

Thanks!

(p.s. I plan to be "By Appointment" only, for my own sake and for the way the office situation is at the chiropractor's I will be renting from)

Gina,

The nice thing about setting your own hours and being 'by appointment' is that it's all up to you when you can or want to take clients. Initially when you first start up, you might need to be more flexible so that you can accommodate as many clients as possible. I am assuming you're paying a flat rent rather than a percentage? If you are able to come and go with your own key and don't need to work within the hours of the rest of the chiro. office necessarily, this can be a big help. I used to take clients pretty much whenever they could come in until I built up my clientele enough that I could work less crazy hours. I lived close to work though so I could just come in on pretty short notice. Once you have enough clients, you can be a little more choosy on your times! I used to love giving myself enough time in the middle of the day to go to the gym- it's great to work for yourself!
