On Valentine's Day our realtor stopped by in the afternoon with a present. A cute bowl with a jar of salsa in it, all wrapped up very nice. Mind you.....we have not purchased a home with him yet, we're just in the looking phase. Two days after he took us around looking at homes, we received a note in the mail thanking us for letting him show us houses. These are only two examples of things this young fella has done since we met him.
So, why am I sharing this with you guys? This kid (he's in his 20's) is a smart business man. I'm very impressed with how he goes out of his way to keep his name on our minds. His dedication to us, keeps us dedicated to him....so who are we going to use as a realtor when we are ready to purchase that home...yep, him!
All the things he's done for us has made us feel very special. The skin care business is much different than his, but what kind of things are we doing to make our clients feel special or have we forgotten about it? Are thank you notes a thing of the past? Is a quick phone call to check in no longer an option? Are we too busy trying to bring in new business to fully take care of the clients we already have? I'll admit, I have been guilty if getting lazy or caught up in other things and letting these things drop by the wayside.
Please share the big and the little things you do to make your clients feel special!!

I decided a long time ago to treat all of my clients like friends. I give them my cell number and they can call/txt whenever. I check in with them regularly. My 70 plus clients i treat how I would want my mom treated. Sometimes I will forward articles, info, and special gifts to them. Sometimes it's a simple recipe. I also hand-hug them and tell them that I am committed to them and their skin. I also offer half off all of my facials in October. Every October!
Big deals to me are providing essential skin info. My younger clients research my blog, add me on Facebook. They love that I spend the time to do the research, the classes, try new things. My regulars I always throw in something nice. Like I would my best friend! This is the hallmark of my business. I try not to ever get lazy about it. Even through thyroid disorder and new baby sleep deprivation!
