how long should this wax take?

Hello all. I hope everyone is well and busy as it begins to get warmer. I have a quick question re: the amount of time it "SHOULD" take to finish waxing a client...

I waxed legs, underarms and brazilian last night and it took me about an hour... is that normal? i was quick with the brazilian and the underarms but I felt like the legs was a long process because I was trying to get ever hair.

Also when I do a full brazilian wax I tend to take about 30 min. But I find that when the hair is longer I make take up to 45 min (I use a combo of hard and soft wax)

I really want to be quick, amazing at my job yet still personable. I don't want to be a "Vagina Factory" :)

Please help if you can. I am open to feedback, advise and ways to improve my speed while still making my clients feel like they are my #1 priority.

Maybe i'm too chatty... LOL!

Ah, the age old question. The answer is different for everyone. The only way you find a wax that works for you, and that you like to work with is by trying them. Remember, the wax you use is only part of the equation, your technique needs to be strong as well. You could use the best hard wax in the world (subject to opinion :)), but if your technique is lacking you won't get the best results, which in turn will lead you to the conclusion that the wax is bad and you will be back searching for the best wax. It's a vicious circle. :)

You are doing fine on time. It take me 40 minutes to do legs. I don't do that many, nor do I really want to. Most of my waxing is brows, brazilians, underams and face.

Hi Crickett! Thanks for your reply and wisdom! I think I have found 2 waxes that I really love and i tend to keep those in my wax arsenal. I don't do too many legs but I sometimes get asked to. I just want to make sure my timing is not awful. I try to attend as many classes that I can to keep my education. I am even planning on attending the wax show... soooooooooooo excited by the way! Thanks again for the advice.... it's nice to know there are people out there who can make an impression!
