I need help in trying new products for my practice before I carry it to retail!

I have been looking into Marta's site www.truthinaging.com where she tries new skincare products and then gives her feedback about it, she is very knowledgeable but I don't know if she is really being honest or trying to sell these products. Does anybody had any experience with her membership or used the products she recommends please give me your feedback on that, would really appreciate.

Hi Naz,

I have a great serum line I have been using over 20 yrears. You have to custom blend them your self for your clients and its great for oxy Infusion its water base so it works great and results are amaizing. Get in touch with me at skinmagicltd@gmail.com

Golly Naz - I checked out the site and see how it can lead to confusion.  I as well am unsure... the site promotes mostly their product line although at time there will be something marketed by someone other than tia.  I wish I could offer some feedback but, have not used anything from that product line.

Best wishes,

Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda for taking out the time and responding to my question.

It's your business, you need to do all the research, meet the reps, go to their classes, research their ingredients, read international reviews, get facials by others who use your short list of possible products but don't take 1 persons advice as convenient as it is, it's up to you to try them and VERY good for your knowledge and salesmanship.

I have been using two great lines and very happy with them but was looking for few newer products not the whole line was just getting bored so I did order few samples of couple of lines I was interested lets see how it goes, thanks though :)

I use an Organic line called Eminence, which I love and I use a medical grade line that is results oriented called Circadia. They are both supportive and are big on educating you with everything you need to know to use the products properly and confidently. They also have continual classes.

Hi! Totally new to this as well. (this is my 1st post on here actually) Look into Paula Begoun.  beautypedia.com Tons of info and she IS trying to sell her own line, but will recommend others as well. So knowledgeable!

Welcome Tabatha! I like Paula Begoun's site too. I bought some of her Resist line for my own use and really, really like it. I got very visible, noticeable results on myself from her Skin Resurfacing glycolic set. I think Paula's site and Marta's are both incredibly good resources for user reviews.

I worked with Marta on an article she wrote for Skin Deep magazine recently (the one on lash growth products in the May/June issue) and I was very impressed by her objectivity on that topic. This is an industry where it is a constant struggle to find/maintain true objectivity because almost everybody is selling something, but just in my own personal opinion, Marta is objective with her reporting.
