They've created an implant that stimulates the production of pigment in your skin, making the individual tanner for up to 3 months. How do you feel about the idea of an implantable tan? I suppose it's safer than UV tanning, but personally I'd be worried a little bit about what the side effects might be.
I have heard of this as well. They created it for pleople with skin conditions such as melanoma then they found out that it protects the skin from uv damage and gives you a tan for 3 months. It's about the size of a grain of rice that they place under the skin, kinda scary sounding I'll be checking up on this to see how it turns out.
