Hi- is anyone using infrared heat in their services? I am planning to use it during body treatments for overall warmth, comfort and the benefits of infrared... but I'm especially interested in using it during a facial. the hows/whys/etc.

I don't have the budget for the more expensive LED light therapies, etc. so I'm hoping to maximize my infrared heat lamp as much as possible.

Thanks!

Yes, I use it.

During facial treatments while the client is masking and I do a hand treatment on them, it helps the mask to "penetrate" better, increases circulation, stimulates fibroblasts, and keeps the mask warm.

I use the one bulb standing light at a distance of about 1 meter from the client. Not closer because the IFR is very penetrating and can get too hot. I aim it at the clients face and decolette.
Make sure the eyes are covered so the client doesn't have to look directly in to it.

In Europe we call it the Beauty light (-:
Thank you!! :-) exactly what I was looking for. I love "Beauty Light" haha

Marion, you rock!

I have been wanting the Biotherapeutic LED light but cannot afford the $12,000 pricetag. It never even occured to me to use an infrared lamp. I learned this technique when I was in cosmetology school in California.

Gettin' me an infrared lamp stat!!! :-D

Hello!
Will you tell me which infrared heat lamp you are referring to, and where I may find one?
Thank you so much,
Kimberly
