I no-showed on a client this morning. Ugh!!! I've had reliability issues with schedulicity in the past but they have seemed to remedy that. This time I think it was user error. Meaning the receptionist didn't click "notify provider". I know I should check online every morning but was enjoying being lazy with my husband before he had to fly out.
I'm just disappointed in myself. She was a new client and therefore didn't reschedule. Bummer.
Lesson learned.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Did you try calling the client? Even if she doesn't come back, you will know that you did everything you could to rectify the situation and she may re-think coming back. Things happen and I'm sure she will understand.

Don't beat yourself up too much. :)

The appt was scheduled thru her sister. I'm gonna call Sister in a bit and hopefully the message gets back to her.

if i chage an appointment time, for what ever reason; or the one time i missed an appointnent cause i neglected to write a change in my book... i call client, to reschedule, tell them im sorry for inconvience and give them a treat ar the reschdule...  ill upgrade the facial, or add on a service.   it makes them happy, and they forget chage quick
