I've only been an Esti for 3 years and I still don't use a lancet as I was taught in school that these are illegal to use in California. I've had a few clients stop coming for facials because I refuse to use a lancet. I perform my extraction manually with great success but a few weeks ago I had a client who had lot's of Pustules and was surprised I didn't use a lancet. When I told her they were illegal she said they have always used them on her. Well last night she came back for a massage and said she spoke with a few Esti's and they said they have never heard of that, as if I was making it up.It seems that many Esti's use this tool under the table so am I being overly cautious? I don't want to get fined or loose my license but I also don't want to lose clients.
