Hi,

Did anyone have a bad outcome from using an LED lamp on clients?

After completing 15 minutes of red light therapy on a client she called later in the day and complained of a sunburned appearance along with hyperpigmentation.

I later found the client was using a topical antibiotic for acne and my dermatologist said it made the skin more light sensitive.

Should I be aware of any other contraindications?

thanks for sharing.

This is a great point about lemon and grapefruit extracts in skincare.  I use a Wood's skinscope during my initial facial (and again later to compare the pics) and I can often track low-grade irritated, barrier-compromised skin back to these photosensitizing extracts.
