LED Treatment Pricing
Is anyone using LED Light Therapy in their treatment rooms? If so, what kind of results are you getting, what sort of treatments are you doing, and if you don't mind sharing, how much do you charge? Do you do it as a treatment add-on or incorporate it into a facial price?

Love LED Light!!! I mostly use a full face panel. Every client gets at least 15 minutes under the panel. I have used the handheld units in the past and gotten very good results. You can actually view some before and after pics of my clients at: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/beforeafterpics.html
I rarely do just LED treatments anymore because I have so many other toys that I incorporate into a treatment. But when I did, I believe I charged about $75 to $100.

Unfortunately the company that I purchased my two LED panels from are no longer selling. They are awesome panels. I've purchased ones in the past that didn't get as good of results. So, I'm on the hunt again for a good panel to represent. I am working on something right now that is LED and will be in the $500 range. Something totally different...I'm kinda keeping it a secret until I'm finished testing it!! Keep an eye on my group here on the forum for info!!

Hi Shelley I looked at the pictures on your website, and wow. I do have a question regarding the client that didnt like the texture of her forehead,what was the proper term or reason it was that way. I've seen it the past and guessed it was a keratosis build up?

Hi Brittnee...Ya know, I can't really give you a proper term or reason. I know that from the day I met her it was that way. I had been doing facials on her for quite some time before I got LED (my first LED machine was in 2002) and had never been able to do anything to change the texture until I started using LED.....it's pretty wild that LED worked so well!

I have been for two years now. If you can get the clients in past the third treatment they would start seeing the effects. I've had clients using it religiously for three years now and just signed on a pkg. of six. They really see improvements. A lot of people don't want to wait for results and they are missing out. I charge $50 per treatment and a pkg. of six discounted.

hi Lara, for the $55/treatment, how long is the treatment for? is tha a facial with led or just led? also, do you apply serum on your clients skin before placing them under led? thanks!

Clients like to have options :) Offering LED Light Therapy as both an add on ($25) or as a stand alone treatment ($55) Have had amazing results with the Quasar ;) Bests

Haha, that's actually opposite to my motto, but I do think it highly depends on your location and the type of client. In my location, clients really don't like to have options, they just want us to do "whatever their skin needs." For this reason, I've become spoiled and can do LED in every treatment, and after doing that for a while, I just incorporated it into my facial pricing and wouldn't even dream of skipping it unless someone was contraindicated now. I have had one vitiligo patient request no light therapy, and I hold it back on pregnant women if there have been any issues with heat or exercise. Other than that, everyone gets it and everyone benefits ;)
