FYI -5 states have bills that are going to impact cosmetology licensing. Texas, Utah, Missouri, Maryland & Connecticut.  Estheticians will be impacted by this. Here is the link to learn more Pro beauty take action.

You will be able to respond directly from that site, even if you do not live in these states it is REALLY important to make your voice heard by contacting the representative directly. These movements have a way of spreading across the profession.

Also- keep your eyes on your MEDICAL board in the state you are licensed in, rules that affect our scope of practice can be enacted quickly. PA & TN currently have issues there. The NCEA can help with that information as well. www.NCEA.tv
