My client recently reordered a cream from skincare line that I carry and noticed that the jar  was  now 1oz  instead of 1.6 oz.The content is 60% less for the same price as the 1.6 This is crazy to me. i get it things are going up but, 60% less product? I was wondering if anyone  had similar issues with their product lines. How do I reconcile this with my good clients?  (not all their creams changed in size or price)  I don't think the main ingredient is gold!

What product line are you referring to?

I haven't noticed this happening with the lines I use.

glymed. I am calling co in the am to get answer but was curious about everyone else

Would love to know  their response!

Sorry, not 60% but approx 38% less product.  My mistake.   Still.. alot less

If you notice, this is the same tactic that food manufacturers have been using for years.

I have been grocery shopping for many years and the smaller packaging/same price drives me crazy.

Some of us remember when a carton of ice cream was MUCH bigger!

That's a shame that your vendor did not give you a "heads up".

So... I got my answer:  The high cost of raw materials used in formulation of this particular product is the reason for the increase.  they use pure vitamin E.   ouch! it still hurts! lol!   So thanks to all for your input.
