Le Mieux has some eye treatment masks that are fantastic and can be used for the mouth area. If you are looking for something for the lips then you can make your own lip scrub. This is what I did for the holidays (and now will add as a regular service w/ a different name)...

Mistletoe Lip Treatment- Sugar/Honey Scrub (great for getting rid of dry, chapped lips). After, apply a really good Lip Balm and seal with Paraffin. I dip tissue in paraffin wax and lay it over the mouth. It feels great for the client and it is so awesome for the lips. The lip balm gets pushed into the lips so they are extra soft. You can always add the Le Mieux mask for around the mouth area that will help with fine lines and wrinkles.

Hope that helps!

This is amazing! I've been looking for a treatment just like this! Thank you for sharing.

how did you scrub the lips? with your finger?

Thank you very much!!! Sounds awesome!!!
Skin therapist- do you have a specific recipe for the sugar/honey scrub?? And what really good lip balm did you use?? Lol. Do you do the lip scrub before or after the mask?? Sorry for all the questions.. Thank you!! :-)

The scrub doesn't have to be an exact recipe. Mix about 50/50 and try it on yourself first so you know what it feels like for your client. I always wear a glove when scrubbing their lips. :) A little goes a long way. I make it as I need it and give the extra to them in a little sample pot. There are many different types of honey out there but honestly, any honey is fine. It is such a great product just as it is and has many benefits but you are really only using it for about 20-30 seconds. Don't break the bank on this one. :) (that's my opinion)

Lip Balm- I'm actually making my own now but before I was using "It's The Balm" by Paula's Choice. It's pretty awesome b/c it heals and is thick so it was great for the treatment.

Treatment in Order

Scrub

Lip Balm

Paraffin

*if you add the Le Mieux mask, then apply those before the paraffin

Don't apologize for the questions...happy to help!

Such great idea's! I am excited to try! At what point in the facial are you doing the lip scrub/mask? And if also doing the eye mask would you apply at the same time? THanks for sharing :)

I do this at the end. My facials come with 2 masks so I do it with the 2nd one. The eye mask would also be done at that time. I would do everything for the lip and eye treatment and then apply the last facial mask (usually a hydrating cream mask) around it. If you add the paraffin though, that needs to go on after the facial mask. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

And as another add-on (I don't always charge), I will just do the paraffin on the whole face if they are super dry. This goes on after the facial mask.

Hope I didn't just make this confusing. :) It's all pretty easy!

I'll have to check my paraffin. I don't remember the name. It's cucumber melon smell though. :) I dip kleenex in the paraffin and apply that to the face. It feels amazing!!

Why can't you use the paraffin you have on the face?

Not confusing at all, thanks :) So I contacted Le Mieux because I am in the market for some new masks and thought I could check out the eye treatment mask also. What masks do you recommend from them?

uQ Facial Enhancements has a lip peptide capsule which can be followed by a peel off mask. I use this and I've had good feedback from clients. I usually apply just before extractions and remove it when I'm removing the final mask. I hope this helps

Thank you very much!!! You all are so amazing!! I just took and passed my state boards on dec 14th, so this is all new to me. I am just looking to add basic services to my menu right now. I will be working as an independent contractor in a wellness center. I am trying to soak up as much great advice as possible and this forum is awesome for that!!! :-)
