A friend recently told me she purchased a mag lamp/light to wear on her head for waxing and during extractions. My bulb on my mag lamp burned out and I cannot find a replacement anywhere for it. Anyone have ideas where I can get something like this? I've tried searching a few sites with no luck.

Hardware store. Super cheap. I used one for about a year and liked it a lot. I switched because I was tired of wearing it on my head.

I'm wondering though, is there a certain type of bulb that I need to purchase at a hardware store?

I got one super cheap online, I wish I could remember the site! They are sold for people who do crafts. There is an LED on each side above your ear that shines down onto your target. Mine has multiple levels of magnification by flipping down the different lenses. Try googling "opti visor" or "craft visor." Don't spend more than like $16.
Looking online - there are so many options, that it's overwhelming. I want an opti visor to replace my mag lamp. I need something I can use during both facials, face waxing, and Brazilians, as I do a lot of them. For these purposes - what magnifications do I need? I would presume I would need different ones right? Also, I can't seem to find what looks to be a decent one under $50. Is there a particular brand you recommend? Help!,,
