Medical Dermaroller

For years, Hollywood’s elite have secretly used the Medical Dermaroller® to fade stretch marks, acne scars, sun damage and wrinkles.

It is completely natural and minimally-invasive. So there’s no social downtime or risk of side-effects.

Best of all, your results are natural looking and long lasting. People will think you always had that

youthful, smooth skin.

With over 850,000 procedures safely performed in just the last few years, it is quickly gaining popularity

in the United States.

As we age our skin produces less and less collagen, elastin and blood vessels that help to create new

and vibrant healthy skin. Without these building blocks the skin ages and wrinkles appear. The skin

sags and thins. The Medical Dermaroller® reverses this process by triggering your body’s natural

collagen, elastin, and blood vessel production. The process starts working together to help your skin

look younger, fresher, and smoother.

What does it treat?

• Wrinkles and fine lines

• Sun damage

• Acne and box scars

• Large pores

• Burn scars

• Stretch marks

• Uneven skin pigmentation

• Oily skin

• Loose and sagging skin in trouble regions like arms and buttocks

How does it work?

The Medical Dermaroller® uses hundreds of micro-needles to penetrate your skin. After applying a

topical numbing cream, your skin professional rolls the Medical Dermaroller® onto your target area.

This treatment causes a reaction which triggers your body to “fill” these micro holes with new collagen

and elastin. Another advantage to this procedure is that it is one of the only cosmetic procedures

that assist the body in the creation of new “super highways” by a process called angiogenesis.

Simply said, the Medical Dermaroller® helps your body to grow new blood vessels (capillaries)

which carry the essential nutrients, vitamins and growth factors that are involved in the production

of the newly formed collagen and elastin in the target area.

How quickly will I see results?

You see results within 2-3 days after the treatment. Because collagen production occurs naturally,

and at the cellular level, your skin continues looking smoother and firmer up to one year after the

procedure. The majority of your results will start to occur 6-10 weeks after the procedure since it

takes time for your body to grow and arrange collagen and capillaries to transport the growth factors

needed to help the target area.

yes....and......dermrollers have been around for years. The one thing estheticians need to be mindfull of is penetrating the skin with anything. many states do allow esthies to use lancets, needles, dermaplanes, dermarollers, etc.

I am really worried about the statement of applying a numbing cream first. This sounds more and more like a medical procedure.
