Does any on know what the going rate is for a Medical Esthetician in California?

I have a Dr. in Beverly hills looking to hire me on a part time basis and has offered me 10% of services for "Venus Freeze" Treatments.  The % is way lower that I have ever made just on corrective facials.  I really need help!  Looking to have somewhat of an industry standard amount or benchmark amount so that I can negotiate intelligently.  Thanks!!

From what I have heard the pay rate is usually pretty low - usually comes out to about $15/hr.

10% sounds pretty ridiculous - but I guess it depends on the service price (but do the numbers and see what you think). I am sure that he will get someone that will agree to it.

Thanks Cindy!

The Venus Treatment is $500. per service.

My take would be 10% of that with no hourly..so $50.

Just FYI; be careful calling yourself a "Medical Esthetician" because the term is considered misleading to the public and may put you in violation of state law.
