Microcurrent machine

Hi friends, I have posted this before but got no response, please give me your opinion on having this machine in the beginning of my practice (do you think its a good investment?) and the brand I should look into.

I am using Knutek Dermacycling which has LED Light Therapy and microcurrent. The machine with retail products to sell and all my backbar was only $900. They allow you to make payments interest free. Awesome results, this really boost my income. Well worth it!

Michelle, could you give me a little more info about the Knutek Dermacycling?? I have never used microcurrent before, so would this be a good machine for a beginner like me?? And do you mind me asking what you should charge for this service? Sorry for all the questions.... Thank you!!! :-)

Here's the website www.knutekpro.com. Its a 8 week treatment and they come in for a 1/2 hr facial each week. Includes microdermabrasion cream, omega peel, crystal mask, led light treatment and microcurrent. They also need to be using the products at home as well. I charge $360 for the package which ends up being $45 a facial. Product with cleanser, moisturizer, toner, and serum costs $70 so the total pkg would cost them $430. I charge $75 a treatment if they do not do a pkg deal. I think the company recommends charging $65 a facial for pkg total being $520. It depends on your location. I also created an express omega peel $40 that includes microdermabrasion cream and omega peel. I will throw in 5 min of the machine so they try it usually they are hooked. It's great for psoriasis, acne, roasacea, fine lines & wrinkles, pigmentation, scarring. You can even do teeth whitening with the blue light. There's no downtime with the machine. I think it's a great starter machine. The machine costs $500 but they have a pkg deal with retail product and backbar $900. I am making payments of $200 a month. At first I was skeptical but I have made enough in one month to pay off the machine with product sold. I have awesome before and after pictures to show potential clients and I do hand demonstrations with the omega peel which gets people hooked. If you order let them know I told you about it, they also have Referal credits too! They also have a 30 day guarantee if you don't like it you can send it back.

That's an old link guys and doesn't work. I haven't been connected to them in many years!! That machine is definitely only a starter unit and kinda not worth the investment. I used to sell it years ago but realized it wasn't so hot! I actually like the one that someone mentioned from LCL beauty...not a bad little unit for the investment....no training though!

I purchased a Sylvan 6in1 Microderm machine which has micro currentbas one of its features. The company's "tech support" is non- existent but there are videos posted on line for machine use. I am, for the most part, happy with the machine and all it's functions.

Hi, I currently use Soli-tone 2500 which has photo biostimulation system with Lumi-lift (micro-current with pulsating light).  Clients love the result and I think it will be good to have one.  I think Silhouet-tone is pricey compared to other machines out there.  I am not too familiar with other brands but would like to get opinion on other brands.

I see great results with one treatment, but they recommend doing 8 treatments for 8 weeks. The skin keeps getting better and better over those treatments. After 8 weeks, once a month for maintenance. I have before and after pics with one treatment and than another at 4 weeks. I have one client who is almost done with the whole treatment in 3 weeks and I cant believe how awesome her skin looks! I have had the machine for a little over a month and have 7 people on it and another one on Wed is signing up.

Know this is an old thread, but just curious as to whether you are still using and like the Knutek?  Thought the website seemed a little too "infomercial" and would like a professional user's opinion and recommendation.  Thank you!
