I am the only Esthetician at my small spa and want to add a second line. Currently I use Sanitas. I got REALLY excited about Rhonda Allison but received some info from them that said they monitor my monthly sales and I have to maintain $500 a month. Am I confused about this as it is worded that they watch for 3 months to see how things are going. So what is it? I always have to spend that a month or just for 3 months to establish an account?

I have to say it is quite a turn off as a small business and single service provider to have that type of pressure on me. It sort of takes the magic away from it all. What do you all think and please correct me if I am wrong on the whole Rhonda Allison requirements.

Consider Skinscript or another nice line, Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts.  There are no minimums after the first order, which is considerably smaller than Sanitas, another great line!

I think you should call the rep for your area directly for clarification.

They may waive mins for solos.

I agree, get clarification for Rhonda Allison. I remember something like that in my opening order info, but they've never said anything to me about minimums. I'm small-time, and I probably reorder the $500 every 2-3 months, but certainly not monthly.

They are looking for an average monthly spend over the course of a quarter.

This is smart of them.  They want partners that will move their product -- having it sit on the shelves helps no one.  Mercedes does not want dealers that only sell one or two cars a month.

$500 a month wholesale means $1,000 retail.   If you are charging $100 for a facial and average 2 a day, 20 days a month you are looking at $4,000 in service revenue.

Esty's should be 100% sales to service ratios, so 1/4 of your retail sales would have to be in your 2nd line.  Is that realistic?  Should be -- most primary lines account for 60% of sales.

but if you aren't 100% sales to service, selling $1000 of a secondary line is probably not the line for your operation
