My new and old clients can't find me or my salon phone number on line. If you do a Google search, it's almost impossible to find the salon. How can I change this?

What on line marketing do I need to do so people can find me? Does on line booking help with that?

I use the ASCP/ABMP free website builder, I have a facebook business page, and I used to also have an online scheduler. I would always pop up right at the top of searches just under the paid ads.

You need to add keywords to your web pages so they are searchable.

You can also submit your website to search engines and on-line directories like salon seeker, yelp, etc that will boost your on-line presence

Thank you so much. I'm doing most of this now. I think I just need to have on-line booking and submit my web site to search engines. I appreciate it so much, because it's pretty hard to have a business if clients can't find you.

Are there other on-line directories other than salon seeker?

Leanne,

Do you do an email newsletter too? I use Mail chimp to send out to current clients.

Anyway - for old clients it's a good idea.  I imbed a link to my website and my facebook page and I usually get clicks. You've got to get your old clients to like your facebook page so they can stay up to date.

Also - activity on facebook pages and website helps with SEO too.

I don't do an actual newsletter. Thanks for the advice.

An email newsletter would help you stay in touch with your clients. At least your old clients can find you when you move if you maintain contact with them!
