Does any one recommend using electrical modalities (galvanic and ultrasonic, especially) in conjunction with "natural/organic" products, or even home-made masks?
Who here runs a pure "natural/organic" spas (sans machines)?
Can anyone recommend any "natural/organic" skin care lines (ex. Aveda, Eminence, etc.)

Hi Cat,
Most organic lines can be compatible with equipment. The questions to ask is this product designed to be penetrated into the skin. Usually serums and ampoules are the items that are used with a machine like galvanic current. A lot of "natural" lines really are not that natural when you look at ingredients. A lot will say fragrance free but then use a fragrance ingredient as a preservative.
The only professional lines I am familiar with are; eminence, Ilke, Hauschka, dr. spillar, tao and YUM. I know there is more out there. Good luck!
Thank you for clearing that up. I'm currently thinking about trying some home-made skin care recipes and someday integrating them into my studies in holistic nutrition.
Thank you for suggesting The Grapeseed Co.! I'm liking it already!
How is it like working in a holistic therapy center? What kind of people do you see every day?
Hi Debra, I just became a NYR Organic Consultant. I think it is a wonderful company and the products are awesome. Are you using it on your back bar as well?
Cat, You can use galvanic with pure pure hydrosols. Moisten a guaze 4x4 with the hydrosol and run the galvanic over the top on the postitive mode.
I do an all organic line and also use LED, galvanic, Micro current, and High Frequency. Oh! and it's FANTASTIC with the skin scrubber! I use this on EVERY client and it makes a difference. I live in a very woodsy, artistic area and this facial is a HIGH seller!!!!
