Hello All I just need some ideas on another line to use. I have been using Dermalogicia for a while, and I have tried Glymed but it is to expensive. I recently invested in a fruit based line and as of today my clients have not been so happy with it. So now I am back yet again looking for a line. My clients are mainly acne clients, but also need a line for anti-aging. So any ideas is much appreciated. Thanks

Have you looked into the Face Reality products and training for your acne clientele?

Do you want to keep Dermalogica?

And what are you looking for for your anit-aging line?  There are so many out there!

Yes I have looked in Face Reality , and I do plan on doing that just right now I can't even afford the DVD to start the training. The only reason I keep Dermalogicia is honestly because it is a safe line, for when I have clients that come in that don't really want, or need something aggressive. As for the anti-aging I mean I have clients that come in with fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage skin. So I want to offer something to help their condition as well.

okay, so look at the kinds of treatments and products that you would feel good about offering.

Don't worry so much right now HOW you will do that...just get clear on what you would prefer to be doing and what kinds of products will fit into that. Knowing who YOU are is where you start...

Next decide who your preferred clientele would be - not just who you currently have, but those who you would prefer to work with.

Do your research and make a "short list" as to which product line might meet those needs...

You also might want to look at what lines your competitors are using. Personally, I would not want to use what everyone else is using, I like to be different!

some that I would look at would include Circadia, Osmosis, Institut Dermed, and Rhonda Allison...those are lines that would meet MY needs more than my current clientele. (the line that I currently use for them is the one that you didn't like! Which was too bad - but you have to trust what would be a good fit for YOU, NOT for someone else!) A lot of estheticians on here like Image.

Affordability for you and your clients is an important consideration. Is Glymed really that much more than Dermalogica?  The lines I mentioned above are also higher end, Image is more mid-level pricing I believe.

For anti-aging I would recommend Circadia hands down.

Have you tried PCA it's pretty reasonable and you can purchase only what you need.  They will also send you some tester product treatments and retail, free.  I like them and the protocols are really easy to follow.
