Hello Ladies,

I am a licensed esthetician living in Chile for the last almost 4 years, and have been busy working on developing a facial cream/gel, combining (30%) snail extract and (10%) blueberry extract.  This combination helps in moisturizing, hydrating, improves the elasticity of the skin, anti-wrinkle, anti-aging because of the high anti-oxidants, diminishes age spots, scaring, and stretch marks.  Our South American and USA launch is scheduled for March 2012.

I would love to hear your comments and/or interest on what you think this product could bring to the skin care world.

Appreciate your help,

Thank you,

Rachel loyola

Hi Rachel,

I am interested in hearing more about this cream you are working on.  such as other ingredients it contains, what kind of testing results people are having, how much it would cost and so on. Thanks,

Carol Derksen

Hi Carol,

Thank you for your kind response and interest in this innovative product.  Still waiting on a few details, but as soon as I can officially say, I will let you know.  We have a laboratory, which include dermatologists in the initial testing, but we are working on samples to have the general public test its use.

I will keep you posted, thank you again!

Hello Julie,

My thanks to you as well for your interest and curiosity in this product.  As soon as I have an official final word on this, I will most certainly let you and anyone whom may be interested know.

My information is that while snail slime does have certain effects on cellular cultures there is no evidence/research on any benefits to actual skin.

Here is an inexpensive product making those same claims...

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0048ZIDWA/ref=asc_df_B0048ZIDWA1934346?sm...

Not sure if this is the right place to self-promote products.

But since you are doing so then you should probably post the company website info for the people that expressed interest.

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your input, appreciate your perspective.  As for the website information, I will have that available as soon as it is finalized.

For now, on the evidence or research note, I can only go by what our dermatologists and laboratory have certified and approved.  Snail slime in latin america has been used for many, many years. As for my personal experience, I have noticed a difference, as have many others whom always compliment my skin when I have used the product, nothing more.

Please rest assure, that it has taken us years of study and development.  And hopefully, the added benefits of the blueberry extract enhances the effects the snail slime already produces.
