Hello!!

I was invited to a spa event at my friend's yoga studio. She wants me to perform mini microderm facials. I think it sounds great, but I cannot think of how to do it. She won't have any water and i have diamond microdermabrasion, so the tips are not disposable. i suppose i could use wipes for faces, but that's not what i would want on my skin so.... i am looking for suggestions or past experiences to help me figure out if this is do-able! Thanks so much.

Maybe you can set up near close enough to a sink. Have several clean containers for water if you have different clients along with clean sponges and towels. I think you could make this work. What about just giving a mini facial and the following up with you for a microdermabrasion abrasion appointment  or other services.

Thanks for your feedback. There isn't a sink near and from what she has told me there is a sink on another floor, but not hot water. Seems too complicated..... having second thoughts about this :/

I do those all the time. Bring a bottle of distilled water in a spray bottle with you and a stainless steel bowl with you and your products of course along with your diamond peel. As far as wetting their face, you can wet a cotton face wipe that are very inexpensive with the spray bottle or spray in your hands and wet face using massage techniques for cleansing and proceed with the micro mini facial. I find that to work out for me.

I would just make sure it is within your esti laws for your state, first? I know in WI we can not do facials outside are esti establishment. That is why when people do home "spa' parties the clients have to apply their own products.

use a  clean crock pot.  Heat the towels with shallow water in a crock pot and as you remove the towels from the crock pot, use your sponges in the shallow water also.  Easy peasy!

OR, use this funky little device!   I met this company at a tradeshow and they are doing fab (great for mobile purposes) http://www.beautypro.us.com/Default.asp

that is sooooo cute and handy!
