I did a little search but couldn't find any questions like this, I'm new to the boards! HI! :)

I have been a licensed est. since 1997 but had it inactive for many years. I just renewed my licensed and graduated as an electrologist and working part time as a laser tech. I am thinking of opening up my own place and work 3 days a week so I can keep my part time job (which I love!).

If you were me, what would you do? own-based or rent a room at a spa/salon?

I am planning to offer:

Traditional Makeup

Airbrush Makeup

Electrolysis

Facials (microderm/oxygen/microcurrent)

Body wraps

Eyelash extensions

Eyelash/Eyebrow tinting

Simple manis/pedis, and paraffin (yes I have a full specialist lic.)

What are the pro and cons of one or the other? any experienced esthetician wanting to offer advice, please do so!
