Has anyone use Paula's Choice Resist BHA 9 for Sebaceous Hyberplasia? And if so did it work?

Wow, $36 for .3oz?  Why not just have the client stop by twice a week to spot treat with a 10% or 20% SA peel?

hmmm...I wouldn't use any of the PC products.

Maybe you would want to bring up the question on a consumer rather than a professional site?

I agree with you that I wouldn't retail them, but I wonder what your person reasoning is, Cindy?  The pro/consumer distinction?  The history of disparaging estheticians and pro skincare lines?  Just curious.

No- I really wasn't thinking about that.

But now that you mention it...

Yes - I do think that the founder's personal advice was at times a little ignorant/uneducated - but her target market was the consumer that routinely makes purchases off the shelf or counter without knowing alot and not the more savvy end user who is/was a little more educated about professional services and skincare.

And back then, that was most of us!

Nowadays though, through very little effort, anyone can research products and effective ingredients (too bad not everyone does it!).

In this case the only active ingredient that product contains is salicylic acid. So no - I wouldn't buy it.  I saw that some of their resist products contain hydroquinone. I do not use or reccomend any HQ product.

Anyway - I just really LOVE professional services and professional products, and I much prefer chatting with an esthetician over a salesperson.

I think that the PC site does a good job of educating people that don't have a clue...and that is fabulous.
