I was reading an article in the April 12, 2012, New York Times titled, "A He-Wax For Him." The article talked about the growing popularity of male Brazilian waxing in the New York City area, and it mentioned a salon that offers "pejazzling," the male version of "vejazzling," which is affixing crystals in patterns such as stars or dolphins on newly waxed skin in the bikini area.

I was wondering, are any other metropolitan areas offering this service for males, or is this a New York city trend?

I am currently helping a salon grow it's waxing business by developing new products/services for them.  WE are going to be offering this also as the Male Brazilian is a service i specialize in.  This service is sooo popular in the U.K and will be pretty soon taking off here also (hopefully!!)   I am based in S Cal now and not the U.K and most things of this nature grow here pretty quickly then other states tend to follow on the trend.  Keep your eyes peeled Jesse!! lol   Please, check out my book that was published last year if you are interested in learning more about this service.   Have a good one!!

When i speak btw of this service i am talking in regards to waxing and pejazzling that you mention!! :)

Thank you, Claire, for your response. So far, then this is popular in New York City and U.K., and growing in popularity in So. Cal. Any other regions that are seeing a lot of male Brazilian waxing or any pejazzling?

No problem.  I do know of a few technicians that i have become aquainted with on here and Twitter etc that do this service.  Michigan, Canada and one girl is from Florida.

I will keep my ears open for more places and let you know if i see a trend developing anywhere else! :)

Thank you!
