Hi! So, I've recently learned to do Brazilian waxing. I'm a recent graduate and didn't do much of this kind of waxing in school. I've got my service down to 30 minutes and feel like I'm doing a great job, but would love any tips from you all! Thank you in advance!

I use, and have only ever used Sugar of the Nile brand.  I would like to try other brands, but so many of them want you to be certified through them to purchase...

Couple of things that have made my Brazilians faster...

1. Have a consistent plan of approach. I have sections I work in so that I can go into auto mode and keep up a steady pace and discussion with my clients. i.e. I do a bikini and clean the perimeter, then the area above the pubic bone, then I flip them and do the backside which leaves me a clean "flick" with the hard wax working from the base of the labia to the pubic bone.

2. I do as much as I can with soft wax because its faster and cleaner but only if I have adequate room to tighten the skin for pulling.

3. I stress 4 week or monthly appointments because the more consistent they are the faster and easier it will be. I provide a maintenance discount to encourage this. (Seriously, my Brazilians are ten minutes from prep to clean up if they do this.)

4. I recommend post care products and light exfoliation to keep their follicles healthy so I don't have to spend much time on ingrowns.
Yessss about cleaning the backside before attempting the labia. SO much easier, and it really ensures you're not missing those tricky areas.

What product do you recommend for post care? I haven't found anything I'm really blown away by for that region.
Well, I sell Tend Skin but I agree it's pretty basic and lackluster. So I usually encourage Decleor's Post Wax moisturizer due to healing properties which I finds helps prevent ingrowns better because you're healing the follicles faster so the hair has less blockages from build up of cells from a slow recovery process. I've also noticed that the hair seems softer and pulls out a lot easier.

Thanks for the advice!
