Presentation using power point understanding basic skin care.
Good morning all! I could use some suggestions. I would like to create a power point to do a brief intro to why it's important to take care of your skin. I would like to start with something basic then branch it out to more specific concerns, anti-aging, acne, pigmentation etc... My goal is to help educate new and current clients. Any suggestions on some website to get ideas from or if you all want to share what you feel is important to go over with clients that would be great. I am very new at all of this and I have so many ideas. I feel like this is the best way to start. I hope you all have a great and successful day.

I would recommend explaining the right way to cleanse your face. SOOOOOO many of my clients are not doing this right.
SUNBLOCK!!!! What does spf mean and why use it.
Also do a do's and don't segment
MYTHS and Truths are always a fun way to start.
I would also explain the layers and what you would do during a facial.

I agree with Amy. Go over the basics first, cleanse, tone moisturize, SPF. The difference between foamy cleanser and creamy cleanser. What a toner is and what it does. The difference between a moisturizers, if people prefer a mat feeling or a dewy feeling. Then go into your enhanced treatments, serums, and masks. Who uses them, what they are for and difference between Vit C and Vit A's (for now). Then you can have a different class for aging, acne, etc with ingredient specific things. I would give people little sample bags of the basics to help with instructions so they can go home and practice!
