Renting a room

I'm looking to start my own business. I think I want to take a step at a time so I'm looking into renting a space. Not sure exactly where to start. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Get your business account set up I did mine with my business name DBA with my name. Make sure you get yourself organized with a book keeping system! And whatever you do only make your business purchases with your business account do not mix any personal transactions on this account! And you Will make your life easier if you can make all ur biz purchases with that card, try to steer clear of cash and using ur personal account to make transactions, it will make tracking purchases and your bookkeeping much simpler down the road! Also make sure you are up to date on what you can use as a business expense for tax write offs! TRACK YOUR MILEAGE! There are so many great apps to help you with a lot of your business- I use a mileage tracker app on my phone so I can just export the data at the end of the year for filing my taxes! Do your research and educate yourself as much as possible about the business side of things, it sucks to learn the hard way on things when the business of being in business gets in the way of being an estie!
